About Giving Tuesday:
Since 2012, Giving Tuesday has been a day dedicated to inspiring positive change and encouraging people to give back to their communities.
Our Mission:
At Totino-Grace, our mission on Giving Tuesday is to create a positive impact on the lives of students in need. Typically, during this time of year, we focus on raising funds for Angel Outreach, which provides lunches and field trips for students in need. While continuing this tradition, our primary emphasis this year is on enhancing support for students facing financial challenges through endowed scholarships.
What is TG’s Angel Outreach program? Angel Outreach assists TG students in the most significant financial need by providing support to help pay for school lunches. Additionally, Angel Outreach offers need-based funds for students to participate in our school mission trips.
What is an Endowed Scholarship? An endowed scholarship is designed to exist in perpetuity. The initial and future donations (principal) are invested to earn income. A portion of the interest earned is used to fund the scholarship(s) while the principal remains intact, continuing to earn income for future scholarships.
