Winter Place Gala
The 2020 Winter Place Gala will take place on Saturday, November 21, at Totino-Grace High School.
The Winter Place Gala is Totino-Grace High School's largest community fundraising event. Each year, alumni, past and current parents, faculty, staff, and friends gather to kick off the holiday season in style.
Proceeds from the gala fund vital Totino-Grace programs, technology needs, and financial aid for students. Please consider attending, volunteering, and donating to support our school and students.
Thank You for Supporting the 2019 Winter Place Gala!
What an amazing 2019 Winter Place Gala! Over 600 participants contributed $695,000 to lift up our mission and advance our students, including a record amount of almost $390,000 to benefit families in need of tuition assistance.
Members of the Winter Place Gala committee had been meeting since last January to plan, organize, and execute all that needed to be done. These people include our chairs, Tara Melsha, Lisa Arnold, Robyn Sitarz, and Wendy Washburn Koschak; our merchandising coordinator, Mary Richter Daugherty; and our creative director, Dan Shamp '00. I also want to lift up the many committee chairs and members who made the night a success.
Totino-Grace very much relies on the good will and hard work of our Board members, teachers, staff members, coaches, as well as our students. Along with so many volunteers, our faculty, staff, and students come through every year: donating, decorating, supervising, constructing, taking down, cleaning, and contributing in other ways. Without the collective efforts of so many, the Gala would not take place.
The sense of community that Katessa Archer ’14, our keynote speaker, spoke of during her speech was readily seen and experienced. What a great atmosphere!
I often get asked about what makes Totino-Grace different than other schools. The answer is obvious: it’s people. I think it's written into our DNA that people count at TG. Our Catholic charisms are foundational as to how people are treated.
I am blessed to be part of the Totino-Grace school community.
This year’s school theme is “Together we are.” Indeed, together we are . . . . better.
Live Jesus in our heart. Forever.
