The majority of Totino-Grace students drive or are involved in a carpool. Totino-Grace will provide a list of students living in your zip code area if you are interested in setting up a carpool.

Mounds View will provide Totino-Grace students afternoon busing ONLY for the 2019-2020 school year (no a.m. bussing). A Mounds View District bus will shuttle students from Totino-Grace at 2:55 p.m. to Irondale or Mounds View High School. Students will then be brought home by an Irondale or MVHS route bus at 3:22 p.m.

Totino-Grace High School families who reside in the Fridley School District, and live more than one mile from Totino-Grace High School, and wish to take the Fridley School District sponsored bus to Totino-Grace High School should complete THIS FORM. Questions may be directed to Cindy McKay, Fridley School District Transportation Coordinator, at 763-502-5026. There will be no charge for this service. Fridley will also run buses to Totino-Grace High School on the days that Totino-Grace High School is in session and Fridley is not.

Totino-Grace offers three morning only bus routes. Please visit our Bussing Webpage for complete details regarding Totino-Grace bussing. Please Note: current stop locations and pick up times are tentative until ridership is finalized in August.

The bussing fee is $600 for the first child and $200 for each additional child in the family. This breaks down to $3.43/day for one child and $2.29/day for two children. This fee will be applied to the student's TG account and can be divided equally into two payments due on August 1 and October 1.  By enrolling your child(ren) to ride the bus, you are responsible for paying the entire amount to cover the cost of the bus for the full school year. In the event that there are not enough riders your payment will be reimbursed. If you are interested in signing up for this bus route, please contact Jan Thomas in the transportation office at 763-571-9116 ext. 219 to obtain a contract.

The Northstar Rail provides service to the North and Northwest suburbs along Highway 10. One of the stations is located in Fridley at 61st Way NE and East River Road NE. There is a shuttle service available from that station to Totino-Grace High School. The morning pick up will be at 6:55 a.m. (in the west lot), right after the 6:50 a.m. scheduled stop. This will be the only time available. In the afternoon there will be a bus leaving at 3:40 p.m. from Totino-Grace High School back to the Fridley station for the 4:10 p.m. departure. Both the morning and afternoon shuttles will be very closely monitored and if not utilized will be adjusted or cancelled. For now, there will be no charge for this shuttle service but this will also be looked at closely. All of this is subject to change as we adapt and adjust to the new opportunities.

Student Passes are valid for unlimited rides on any regional bus or train. A Student Pass costs $97 per quarter. Additional fare is required to ride any route with a fare higher than $3.25 (for example, select Northstar fares); to cover the additional fare you must add stored value to the pass.

A majority of school districts reimburse families a portion of the cost of transporting their student to a school outside the district they reside. If you are unsure whether the school district in which you reside offers a form of reimbursement, contact our transportation office.
