A hard-fought season for Totino-Grace wrestling

Another appearance at the MSHSL State Wrestling Tournament has been written in the record books.

Totino-Grace High School began the team tournament with a match against #1 seed Watertown-Mayer, falling 55-14.

In the consolation bracket, Totino-Grace squared off against Marshall, finishing 52-18 and officially turning the page on the 2024-25 team season.

6 TG wrestlers went on to compete in the individual brackets on Friday and Saturday.

  • Austin Herbst ('25) finished 41-13 and won the first round match of the 139AA individual bracket
  • Payton Herbst ('26) finished the season at 38-9 and advanced to the 160AA individual quarterfinals
  • Landon Bizal ('26) finished the season 21-22
  • Joe Kruse ('26) finished the season 37-8
  • Jackson Refsnider ('26) finished the regular season at 38-10, and advanced to the 133AA individual quarterfinals
  • Logan Refsnider ('28) finished the season 42-6
