Welcome to the 2025-2026 School Year

As we begin the 2025-2026 school year, Dr. Craig Junker shares a message with the Totino-Grace community:

Dear TG families,

Totino-Grace High School is a very special place. From the moment your student steps into our community, our goal is to ensure they feel there is no other place they want to be in school. For nearly 60 years, our faculty and staff have committed to educating and forming each student into young men and women who know God, love God, and live the Gospel.

Your student will spend about 2,250 days in school before graduation, about 700 of them here at TG. Our mission is well thought out, because we want to partner with you in the education of your students. As a Catholic and Lasallian school, we are different from public and charter schools because our goal is formation of each student to be young adults of distinction and character wherever they go in life.

TG can be a sanctuary for our students. A place where they should be able to be themselves, a place where they are comfortable, being able to fail, be silly, try hard, try new things, pray . . . and not fear reprisal. At Totino-Grace, we know that teaching and our rigorous academic program go hand-in-hand with caring for the social and emotional needs of each student.

Students need to know they are loved by our teachers and community, and capable of great things. We are also committed to helping them discover the plan God has for them. When we focus on these things and do them well, your students will be able to thrive, because the main focus at TG is your student.

This year, we are proud to welcome more than 170 freshmen as Eagles, bringing our total enrollment close to 700 students which is exciting for us. With over 95% of our students involved in co-curricular activities, many students have already returned to campus prepping for the fall season. It’s been great to feel so much energy back in the building and we’re excited to have everyone back for the first day of the new school year on Monday, Aug. 25.

Our teachers’ enthusiasm for the upcoming year has also ramped up, and I’m proud of our teachers' incredible dedication to your students. No doubt this is a fun time of year.

There is a Lasallian expression “Together and by Association” which describes a promise (and commitment) to make a difference in young people’s lives through relationships and education. This is the foundation on which Totino-Grace was established, and what generations of faculty, staff, alumni, parents, students, and friends have achieved together.

This year’s students will make their mark, because your family is here, part of a school community that helps your students foster a quest to attain their personal best.

I often hear from families that the educational experience here at TG is transformational and inspiring. I am grateful that it is these things for so many of you, and believe the coming year is also going to be fun and rewarding! Let’s have a great school year together!

Live Jesus in our hearts. Forever.

Dr. Craig W. Junker
