Totino-Grace welcomes gifts from donor-advised funds, which is like a charitable savings account. If you have a DAF, you can recommend a gift is granted to TG at any time to support the student experience. If you have questions, please email Shannon Hartinger.

Legacy Gifts and Planned Giving

There are many ways to leave a gift that will continue your legacy at Totino-Grace, including bequests and life income gifts such as gift annuities and charitable remainder trusts. In all cases, a planned gift can enable you to make a larger gift to Totino-Grace than you might have otherwise thought possible - one that will create opportunities for TG students for generations to come.

If your gift is for general support of TG, please use the following language in your will or living trust:  

"I hereby give, devise, and bequeath to Totino-Grace High School, Taxpayer Identification Number 41-6049228, [INSERT AMOUNT OR PERCENT OF ESTATE] to be used to further the mission of Totino-Grace at the discretion of the president of the high school."

You can help make an even greater impact by securing a matching gift from your employer! Many companies offer a matching gift to nonprofits that their employees choose to support. 

To find out if your employer has a matching gift program, please contact your Human Resources Department. Many employers allow you to submit your gift online and it takes just a few minutes to double or even triple your gift!

Making a gift of stock or mutual funds allows you to support TG while realizing benefits for yourself. When you donate appreciated stock or mutual funds you have held for more than one year, you can reduce or even eliminate federal capital gains taxes on the transfer. You are also entitled to a federal income tax charitable deduction based on the fair market value of the securities at the time of the transfer. 

*If you are requesting an electronic transfer of stock or mutual funds, please email Shannon Hartinger. Please provide your name, name of stock and/or mutual fund, and the number of shares. This allows us to properly match your gift to your giving record.

If you’re 70.5 years or older, you can direct a Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCD) from your IRA to Totino-Grace High School. A QCD can count toward your required minimum distributions and may reduce taxable income because the distribution goes directly goes directly to charity. In 2026, the annual QCD maximum is $111,000 per person.
