The Link Ambassadors program provides a structure which guides new students toward both academic and social success. New students are matched to Link Leaders. The leaders are trained to be positive role models, motivators, and mentors to help guide new students to discover what it takes to be successful and to have an enriching experience at TG. The Leaders lead new students through orientation day (Friday, August 24) to help them learn the ropes. On August 24, from 9 am to noon, transfer and new international students will have school. The day welcomes the new students, to their new home, Totino-Grace High School. Following Orientation Day, the Link Leaders connect with new students and support them throughout the year. The Link Leaders are a great resource for students as they navigate their first year TG.
Watch your email in July for information regarding the Eagle Round-Up, which will takes on Thursday, August 2, from 7:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, August 7, from 1:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. All students are required to come to TG with a parent for approximately 30 - 60 minutes during the posted times on one of those two days. If you are a student who will not yet be in the country, we will cover the Eagle Round-up upon your arrival.  The following is what will be accomplished at Eagle Round-up:
  • Receive handbook, class schedule, locker assignment, lunch PIN, and login information
  • Confirm completion of online Activities/Athletic forms and Health Office emergency forms
  • Have photo taken by Lifetouch for their student ID and an optional picture package
  • Purchase uniform shirts
  • Purchase a physical education shirt
  • Browse the Spirit Shop for Totino-Grace spirit wear
Parents, please mark your calendars for the new student Parent Information Night from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 19. We would like all parents of incoming freshmen as well as parents of upper class transfer students and guardians of new international students to attend this gathering on August 19. Please watch your email for more details on this informative and fun event.
The TG community gathers each fall to kick off the holiday season at the annual Winter Place Gala. Parents, alumni, and students all contribute to the success of this event as volunteers, donors, and guests. Save the date - Saturday, November 17 - and watch your email inbox for additional information later in the summer.
Uniform (long or short sleeve) polos or uniform sweatshirts can be purchased exclusively in the TG Spirit Shop on campus or online at https://xtreme.us.com/?product_cat=totino-grace-school-store . The Spirit Shop will be open during Eagle Round-Up. Uniform pants must be khaki or navy blue (no jeans) and may be purchased anywhere.
Necessary classroom supplies will vary according to the teacher and course. In the first days of school, teachers will share with students what is needed for their class.
