Totino-Grace Boys Hockey Program Opts Up to Class AA
The Eagles defeated Irondale on February 2, clinching the 2019 Northwest Suburban Conference West championship title.
The Totino-Grace High School boys hockey program will opt up to compete in Class AA starting in the 2019-2020 school year.
Totino-Grace players and coaches are familiar with the landscape of AA hockey as our boys teams have been competing in a conference with Class AA teams for several years. The Eagles look forward to facing AA teams in tournament play at the section and state level.
Totino-Grace Athletic Director Mike Smith shares, "Our boys hockey program has been built on a solid foundation; participation levels are strong, and our team has been competitive. Now is the right time to make the move to Class AA. We are excited by the possibility of attracting more interest in the Eagle hockey program as a result of the change."
