Work Study

Totino-Grace High School has multiple areas for students to join the work study program in a way that is mutually beneficial. All students may apply, however, priority will be given to students with financial need. Students will earn tuition credit to be applied to their Totino-Grace Student Account. Hours worked will be tracked via time clock. Amount earned per hour will be dependent on the graduating year of the student. Here is a list of positions that are available for the summer of 2025:

• Outdoor Maintenance Crew: STUDENTS MUST BE 16 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER TO DRIVE MOWERS / EQUIPMENT. Students will work with the Grounds staff on various outdoor tasks. This position requires a 5 day a week commitment. Hours will be 8:00am to 3:00pm, Monday-Friday beginning Monday, June 16 and ending Friday, July 25. No work on June 19 or July 4.
• Building Paint Crew: Under the direction of the Maintenance Department staff, student workers will complete required paint upkeep and repainting of designated areas and rooms. Hours will be 7:00am to 12:00pm, Monday-Thursday beginning Monday, June 16 and ending Thursday, August 1.  No work on June 19.
• Indoor Maintenance Crew: Under the direction of the Maintenance Department staff, student workers will complete various tasks in our campus buildings. Hours will be 8:00am to 3:00pm, Monday-Thursday beginning Monday, June 17 and ending Thursday, July 31. No work on June 19.
• Administrative Office Student Assistant: STUDENTS MUST BE ENTERING THEIR 11TH OR 12TH GRADE YEAR TO APPLY. Under the direction of the Administrative Office staff, student workers will complete various tasks including filing, answering and directing phone calls, greeting and directing guests, accepting deliveries, sorting mail and data entry. This position requires a commitment of three days per week with possible job sharing opportunity for two applicants. Spanish speaking is a plus. Hours are during the scheduled office hours of 8:00am to 2:00pm beginning the week of June 10 and ending Friday, August 9. No work on June 19 or July 4.
• Admissions/Counseling/Marketing/Spirit Shop Office Student Assistant: Under the direction of the office staff, student workers will complete various tasks including filing, data entry, copying, mail production, research, organizing and other duties as needed. The position will have a predetermined work schedule with a commitment of three days a week, four hours each day beginning Monday, June 9 and ending Friday August 1. The Spirit Shop will also need assistance during Eagle Round Up in early August.  No work on June 19 or July 4.
• Advancement Office Student Assistant: Under the direction of the Advancement Office staff, student workers will complete various tasks including filing, data entry, copying, setting up for events, mail production and telephone outreach.  (Telephone outreach is non-solicitation-6 hours each week to thank donors and gather updated contact information.)  This position will have a predetermined work schedule with a commitment of 12 hours a week beginning Tuesday, June 17th and ending Friday August 8.  No work on June 19 or July 4.
• Technology Office Student Assistant: Under the direction of the Technology Office staff, student workers will complete various tasks during the scheduled work time. Duties will vary throughout the assigned work schedule. This position will have a predetermined work schedule of 8:00am to 12:00pm Monday through Friday beginning Monday, June 9 and ending Friday August 8. In addition to the regular weekly schedule, hours will be scheduled Eagle Round Up and Laptop Handout Dates.  No work on June 19 or July 4.

All student workers are expected to follow the school dress code: Neat, clean and modest. No bare shoulders or cut up/torn shirts or pants will be allowed.  

• Administrative Office must be professional. No jeans, shorts or leggings.
• Office apparel must be professional: School uniform/khaki shorts are acceptable, jeans are acceptable.
• Maintenance apparel is expected to be respectable: Jeans are acceptable., shorts are acceptable at a modest length.
