Make-up Placement Exam

No Extended Time offered (if your student has an accomodation plan that allows for extended time, please contact the admissions office)

8:15 am on Monday, February 19th

Students should arrive between 8:00-8:10 am

Location: Check-in just inside the main doors of the school 

 

 

 

Submit an application, two recommendations (one must be from an English teacher and the second from another teacher/administrator), a video/written essay and a report card.

The essay should answer the question “Why TG.” The essay may be submitted in video or written form. Please read carefully the requirements for each:

• 30 seconds minimum/60 seconds maximum
WRITTEN ESSAY INSTRUCTIONS
• 150 word minimum/300 word maximum (please include your first and last name on your essay)

Acceptance to TG occurs after completion of the application file and review by the admissions team. The deadline for priority acceptance is December 31, 2017. Students who have all materials in by December 31, will have their admissions decision sent on January 16, 2018.  Starting January 20, 2018, students accepted under priority acceptance will be the first students invited to enroll into the TG Class of 2022 (and those who enroll by February 5, 2018, will receive $50 off their enrollment fee) and will be the first to select classes. Under rolling admissions, acceptance emails and letters will be sent starting January 21, 2018.
 
The next Make-up Placement exam for the TG Class of 2022 will take place on Monday, February 19. Plan to arrive between 8:00-8:10 am at the main school building. The exam takes approximately three hours. Click HERE to access detailed information about the Placement Exam and to pre-register.
Beginning January 20, 2018, priority accepted students will be invited to enroll. Accepted students and their parents will receive a link to the Enrollment Contract. Please note, based on the student's Placement Exam scores, we may discuss with the student and family the academic accommodations available at Totino-Grace. If we feel that we do not have the feasible accommodations to meet the student's needs, we will refund their Enrollment Fee. The Enrollment Fee is $300 (those who enroll by February 5, 2018, will receive $50 off their enrolment fee and be the first to select classes). Students accepted after the priority acceptance deadline will be invited to enroll starting Monday, January 22nd.
 
The 9th Grade Academic Preference Form will only be made available to students who have been accepted and submitted the Enrollment Contract and Enrollment Fee. The Academic Preference Form allows students to make course selection preference. Please note courses are filled as students register. To ensure enrollment in preferred courses we encourage submission of this form promptly.
