It is the philosophy of the baseball program that all co-curricular programs are truly extensions of the classroom. God, family, and academics are the first priority of all members of our program; baseball is next in line. Baseball is a game where discipline, hardwork, teamwork, ability to handle adversity, attitude, respect, and attention to detail can all be learned and practiced. These and other life skills will be carried forward throughout life and help with the future of all people. By learning and working on these skills we are hoping to help develop good friends, sons, brothers, etc. and good baseball players. Our players and coaches should realize just how lucky we are to have that time together to put away the cell phones, emails, and other distractions that we are surrounded with. Cherish that time to develop into better people and better baseball players. Click HERE to review the complete Eagle Baseball Philosophy Statement
SPRING BREAK POLICYThe spring break policy for the baseball program has been in place for a number of years. The policy is as follows -- If any athlete is taking a FAMILY vacation during spring break we understand and will work with that. We understand that in the grand scheme of things family is more important. Please just understand that by doing this the athlete will need to work REALLY hard to get back in the mix because they will miss a fair amount and they have opened up opportunities for others. If any athlete is taking a vacation with a group of friends (example - several seniors taking a trip to Mexico), those athlete are asked to not try out for baseball. As a program we have had to work with spring break conflicts for a very long time so if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.Coaches ExpectationsParent ExpectationsPlayer Expectations
