The Northstar Rail provides service to the North and Northwest suburbs along Highway 10. One of the stations is located in Fridley at 61st Way NE and East River Road NE. There is a shuttle service available from that station to Totino-Grace High School. The morning pick up will be at 6:55 AM (in the west lot), right after the 6:50 AM scheduled stop. This will be the only time available. In the afternoon there will be a bus leaving at 3:40 PM from Totino-Grace High School back to the Fridley station for the 4:10 PM departure. Both the morning and afternoon shuttles will be very closely monitored and if not utilized will be adjusted or cancelled. For now, there will be no charge for this shuttle service but this will also be looked at closely. All of this is subject to change as we adapt and adjust to the new opportunities.
Metro Transit is now offering Totino-Grace Students passes that will significantly reduce the cost of Northstar Rail riders. The cost before the pass would have been $6.50/day for a two way ride.
