When a student will be absent from school or late for any reason, we ask that a parent call our 24-hour Attendance Line (763-586-6300) by 8:00 a.m. to leave a confidential message. Please call each day your student is not in school, and send a note explaining the absence when your student returns. Your student will check in at the Attendance Office before school to deliver their note.
If it is necessary for a student to have an early dismissal, they must bring their note to the Attendance Office before the start of the school day. Please plan ahead so we do not have to interrupt classes to notify your student.
If you know in advance that your student will be absent on a specific day, please send a note to the Attendance Office with your student several days in advance.
