Service Projects

Totino-Grace Lasallian Youth

A community of believers gathered in faith to serve our community.

At Totino-Grace High School our four pillars (Faith, Learning, Community, and Service) are part of every classr and every co-curricular activity.  Lasallian Youth, however, is the one activity that exists simply to offer us ways to live out these Lasallian pillars in our school and local community.

There are no required service hours at Totino-Grace.  We believe that our students are already servants, to their families, their classmates, their teams, their clubs, their parishes, and their wider communities.

However, the majority of our students want to serve communities beyond those they see everyday.  Lasallian Youth provides meaningful opportunities for students to live out their faith through service.

Where Do We Serve?

The Lasallian Youth service project program offers students the opportunity to be of service in the local community. Whether students prefer spending time with older adults, packaging and serving meals or reading with younger students, Lasallian Youth service projects are the ideal way to reach out in service to others.

Service is completely voluntary! Students can choose to take part in one service project or volunteer at a particular site, or variety of sites, many times throughout the year. Many T-G students make regular commitments to particular projects and volunteer all year while other students volunteer for one particular season or as they have time in any given week.

Sign-up sheets are outside of the campus ministry office at the beginning of fourth hall.  Students commit to one event at a time.

We have a variety of one time events on both weekdays and weekends, but primarily we focus on after-school service projects on weekdays.
