Welcome to the TG Breakfast Book Club! We are excited to offer this great opportunity for those students who love to read and enjoy sharing their thoughts and ideas. We offer 4 books over the course of the school year. Bagels and juice will be provided during the meetings which will be held on specified Thursday mornings at 7:00am in the library. Feel free to stop by the library with any thoughts, ideas or questions you may have! You may join us anytime during the year, however, we do ask that a signed permission slip is returned before you receive your first book.
Last selection for this school year!
Wonder
by R.J. Palacio

I won't describe what I look like. Whatever you're thinking, it's probably worse.
August
Pullman was born with a facial deformity that, up until now, has
prevented him from going to a mainstream school. Starting 5th grade at
Beecher Prep, he wants nothing more than to be treated as an ordinary
kid—but his new classmates can’t get past Auggie’s extraordinary face. WONDER
begins from Auggie’s point of view, but soon switches to include his
classmates, his sister, her boyfriend, and others. These perspectives
converge in a portrait of one community’s struggle with empathy,
compassion, and acceptance.
Please see Ms. Burke or Mrs. O'Neil with any questions!
