Apple's MacBook Air was chosen by our committee because it best meets the educational needs of our students and teachers. It can best support what is already happening in the classroom, allows students to create and collaborate, and has the capacity to access complex software. The MacBook Air is Google and Wikispace friendly, supports a variety of online textbooks, and allows/supports video and music creation, photo editing, online research, writing, information management, presentation tools and publishing.
