“From day one Mary holds her players accountable for their own actions and makes her expectations clear. As she holds her standards high, so do her players. Hard work and respect become a “norm” in Mary’s presence, as she would never expect anything less. Through positive encouragement, she makes players want to give 100% of their best efforts.”
-Former Player Valerie Lux Forst
“Mary's teams were disciplined, organized, tough nosed on defense, and they were a top tier team every year she coached.”
- Coach Heiderscheidt
“Mary made a great impact on her players in terms of helping develop young girls into confident young women with positive images. Her greatest achievement may have been the impact she made in the spiritual lives of her players. She taught her players, through word and example, the importance of being a true disciple of Jesus.”
- New Ulm Cathedral AD, John Vetter
