The majority of Totino-Grace students drive or are involved in a carpool. Totino-Grace will provide a list of students living in your zip code area if you are interested in setting up a carpool.

For the 2023 -2024 academic year, families living in district 621 the Mounds View School District will offer bus transportation in the afternoon only.

There is a Bus Fee of $225 for this service if your house is within two miles of the school.

There are discounts for more than one Bus Fee per family. 

In order to guarantee busing service on the first day of school, please register and make any necessary payments by June 8, 2023. It is not required to put in a student ID.

Fridley will offer bus transportation in the morning only. 

Totino-Grace High School families who reside in the Fridley School District, and live more than one mile from Totino-Grace High School, and wish to take the Fridley School District sponsored bus to Totino-Grace High School should contact Cindy McKay, Fridley School District Transportation Coordinator, at 763-502-5026. There will be no charge for this service.

Totino-Grace offers one morning bus route in the northwest.  The 2023-24 route is:

• Sam’s Club at County Road 30 and 94 at approx. 7:15 a.m.

• St Vincent de Paul Church at Jefferson Hwy & 93rd Ave at approx. 7:30 a.m.

• Park & Ride at 610 & Noble Ave N in Brooklyn Park at approx. 7:40 a.m.

•  Light Rail Station (West Lot) at approx. 7:55 a.m.

• Arriving at TG by 8:05 a.m.

*Please note: these times and locations are approximate and will be finalized closer to the start of school. If you are interested in this option, please contact the TG Transportation Office and you will be updated about any necessary adjustments. 

The bussing fee is $600 for the first child and $200 for each additional child in the family. This breaks down to $3.43/day for one child and $2.29/day for two children. This fee will be applied to the student's TG account and can be divided equally into two payments due on August 1 and October 1. By enrolling your child(ren) to ride the bus, you are responsible for paying the entire amount to cover the cost of the bus for the full school year. In the event that there are not enough riders your payment will be reimbursed.

The Northstar Rail provides service to the North and Northwest suburbs along Highway 10. One of the stations is located in Fridley at 61st Way NE and East River Road NE. There is a shuttle service available from that station to Totino-Grace High School. Both the morning and afternoon shuttles will be very closely monitored and if not utilized will be adjusted or cancelled. For now, there will be no charge for this shuttle service but this will also be looked at closely. All of this is subject to change as we adapt and adjust to the new opportunities.

Student Passes are valid for unlimited rides on any regional bus or train. A Student Pass costs $91 per quarter. Additional fare is required to ride any route with a fare higher than $3.25 (for example, select Northstar fares); to cover the additional fare you must add stored value to the pass.

A majority of school districts reimburse families a portion of the cost of transporting their student to a school outside the district they reside. If you are unsure whether the school district in which you reside offers a form of reimbursement, contact our transportation office.
